Genuine 3M Scotchlok quick splice connectors. Quick splices are a fast and easy way to splice into an existing wire. No stripping of the wires is necessary. Simply insert both wires into the splice, fold the top with the metal insert over the wires and squeeze down with pliers until the cap clicks into place. The metal insert in the connector is designed to cut through the insulation and make the connection between the two wires.
The T Tap connector is designed to be able to electrically tap into a wire in mid-span without the need to cut or strip the wire. The female connector then mates with a male tab offering a re-usable quick-connect wiring termination.
Blue: Suitable for 0.75mm – 2.5mm (18-14 awg) wire. (No. 560) Blue, polypropylene-insulated connector is suitable for tap or parallel splicing
Red: Suitable for 0.5mm – 1.5mm (22-18 awg) wire. (No. 905) Red, polypropylene-insulated connector is suitable for tap or parallel splicing
